Construction

The Global Construction Industry accounts for around one-tenth of the world's GDP and 7% of employment. The construction industry is also a key indicator and driver of economic activity and wealth creation.

Large construction and infrastructure projects are being commissioned across the globe. In Latin America and the Far East, for example, this is the result of attempts to increase the competitiveness of industry in the regions and as a method to drive further foreign investment. In developed countries the same factors apply in addition to the need to upgrade or replace older facilities with modern ones.

The construction industry is relatively fragmented with few dominant players in most sectors, whether by industry or geographic orientation. This situation will likely continue to slowly evolve, with a handful of very large firms and a predominance of small and medium sized players serving niche markets as well as a broader base of business.

We have worked with some of the biggest international construction companies for years. This has enabled us to fully understand the needs of construction companies and accumulate a steady base of independent consultants whose expertise we offer to our clients under our contract management service. We have also done extensive international recruitment for companies in this sector. Our clients continue to collaborate with us because we provide them HR services that enable them to optimize their human resources internationally, increase the flexibility with which they dispatch their personnel and utilize the best people for the job.
