Ethical Code of Conduct

As actors of a human-centred business sector we pride ourselves in the value we place on ethical behaviour and consider it one of our most important objectives. We firmly believe that conducting our activity following strong ethical standards is an essential necessity at a human level as well as a decisive competitive advantage.
In this framework we have established the five following points. Observance of this code is the essence of Ergonos' corporate culture and management philosophy.
- Ergonos and each of its employees is committed to strictly observing the applicable legal regulations. Each one of our employees is selected for his/her high professionalism and personal commitment to honesty. Ergonos' employees will not undertake illegal or improper acts or acts that might lead to illegal or improper situations.
- Ergonos shall not base the appreciation of its business partners, collaborators or prospective collaborators upon race, sex, marital status, age, nationality, citizenship or any other personal characteristics unless such criteria are morally acceptable influential factors (e.g. visa requirements or in case of missions in countries with religious or ethnic tensions).
- Gifts or personal vantages from our business partners will be accepted only if they remain within reasonable limits. In no case such gifts will be considered as a reason to obtain an unjustified service or special treatment. If a gift or vantage is offered in this aim, it will be refused even if is may be considered as reasonable.
- Ergonos commits to respect its business partners' privacy following the rules stated in Ergonos' online Privacy Policy. Regarding its employees' privacy, Ergonos guarantees to respect in any situation the applicable law regulations.
- We at Ergonos believe that professional satisfaction and personal development both are essential elements to ensure success in a competitive business environment. We therefore commit to take all reasonable steps to offer to our business partners and employees satisfactory professional opportunities and to give them the opportunity to develop both personal and professional skills trough their work or collaboration with Ergonos. Ergonos commits to creating and maintaining working relationships characterised by excellence, mutual trust and respect.
The present code of conduct is applied in Ergonos' everyday activity as well as in extraordinary decisions making processes.
This ethics code of conduct is discussed regularly within Ergonos, and may evolve following the evolution of our activity and the situations we encounter, we might add some new points or adapt the existing ones. We therefore suggest that you regularly check for updates.
