Description
The Site Manager (Continuous Caster) shall be able to perform/supervise the tasks:
- oordinate the Installation, commissioning & start-up activities with the customer schedule and reports the actual progress to the Site Manager and HQ
- act as point of contact for customer interfaces and all communications to HQs
- coordinate activities of site Technical Advisors to ensure project schedule and quality goals are achieved.
- take care of site logistics organization and attends all site coordination meetings
- ensure that TAs have adequate resources (manpower, tools, technical documents, facilities, etc) to perform their tasks
- ensure all TA timesheet are correct and approvals as required are obtained
- management of subcontractor companies: manpower, OEM specialist (when applicable)
- ensure all reports and drawing "marked-up" are completed
- ensure the application of applicable EHS safety rules
- good attitude to manage relationships with customer and HQ, concerning technical and contractual aspects
- follow up all quality aspects according to standards and procedure
- coordination and management of manpower (when applicable).
Requirements
A Site Manager (Continuous Caster) must:
- have mechanical Engineering degree or Technical High School
- at least 10 years related work experience either in engineering or field activities; at least 5 years experience with CCM
- have ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings
- availability to frequent travel worldwide
- have strong analytic and problem solving skills
- have good interpersonal & organizational skills
- know languages: English required, Italian would be a plus
- have computer skills.
